Brill & Co Stockholm – custom e-commerce development Ruby on Rails

Brill & Co is one of Sweden’s leading and oldest importers of quality beer. They were working with several of the world’s highest-rated beers and breweries and was Sweden’s first importer also to distribute Swedish craft beer. In Brill’s portfolio, customers will find mostly beer but also some spirits, wine, cider, apple must, and sake.

Brill & Co sell and distribute all over Sweden, and our customers include everything from pulsating bars to cozy pubs to many of Sweden’s best fine dining restaurants as well as local eateries.

IT House was in charge of developing whole functionality for the new e-commerce platform. The platform is developed using custom Ruby on Rails development. It gives all information about drinks, has very sophisticated filtering, sorting, and search functionality. Pricing for the products is visible only for legal persons, as the trading of alcohol in Sweden is quite limited.
