Brill & Co: Premium beverage import store
Brill & Co needed product filtering beyond standard e-commerce, giving customers easier access to its diverse drinks catalog.
The idea
Brill & Co is one of Sweden’s leading and oldest importers of quality beer, working with some of the world’s highest-rated beers and breweries, and the first to distribute Swedish craft beer. Their portfolio includes beer, spirits, wine, cider, apple must, and sake, distributed across Sweden to bars, pubs, fine dining restaurants, and local eateries. Such a catalog calls for an e-commerce platform with product filtering that standard solutions can’t deliver.
What we built
A custom e-commerce platform on Ruby on Rails:
- Advanced filtering and sorting Search capabilities allowing users to refine by criteria such as region, type, and domain-specific attributes
- Regulated pricing Pricing information accessible only to legal entities under Swedish alcohol trading regulations
- Premium product presentation Detailed information about their wide range of beverages, with easy navigation and quick access
- Domain-specific search Understanding beverage categories and characteristics for effortless product discovery
