Salmo: Wholesale e-commerce on Spree
Salmo automated wholesale inventory and order processing while distributors could find and order products easily.
The idea
Salmo is one of the largest manufacturers of fishing and tourism equipment in Europe. They needed a B2B e-commerce platform that could handle large volumes of wholesale transactions and integrate with their existing Finewin warehouse management system. The goal was an e-shop that displays Salmo’s extensive product range while automating inventory updates and order processing.
What we built
An e-commerce platform on Spree Commerce and Ruby on Rails with warehouse integration:
