BikerBNB: Accommodation marketplace for bikers
A Sharetribe Go marketplace for motorcycle-friendly stays, with custom pricing rules, sub-listings per room type, and biker amenity filters.
The idea
Motorcycle riders travel differently. They need secure parking, gear storage, and hosts who understand the lifestyle. BikerBNB is an Airbnb specifically for the motorcycle community, designed by bikers for bikers, connecting riders with motorcycle-friendly accommodations.
What we built
We built the BikerBNB platform on Sharetribe GO and developed it in close collaboration with the client over several years.
- Sub-listings Multiple rooms under a single property listing, allowing hotel owners to offer different room types at different prices
- Custom pricing model Variable rates based on weekdays, holidays, and bank holidays for flexible and accurate pricing
- Improved search logic Enhanced search functionality for more accurate and relevant results
- Stripe integration Addressed Stripe limitations and integrated the payment gateway for efficient transactions
- Availability calendar Updated to provide clear and accurate booking information
- Discounting model Special rates and promotions for users
- Blogging and landing page A blogging feature and landing page to engage users and provide valuable content
