Quicjobs: A reverse marketplace for odd jobs
We built and launched a Sharetribe reverse marketplace as an MVP in weeks, where employers post tasks and workers apply with preset prices.

The idea
Quicjobs, a platform for odd jobs and one-off tasks, connected people needing an extra pair of hands with those looking to maximize their free time or find flexible work. The platform simplifies finding help for odd jobs and one-off tasks, from weekend gigs to side hustles. Users create job postings in a few clicks.
What we built
A reverse marketplace developed in MVP style, focusing on speed to market with a functional, user-friendly platform.
- Reverse marketplace structure Employers post job requests and employees apply with a preset price. Payment is placed in escrow and released after task completion.
- Simple job posting Users create postings in a few clicks, simplifying the process.
- Flexible work matching The platform offers job options from weekend tasks to regular side work, allowing job seekers to find opportunities that fit their schedules.
The result
A functional marketplace launched quickly through the MVP approach, validating the concept with real users. The reverse structure simplified job matching. Simple design and secure payments enhanced user confidence. The quick MVP development provided immediate value, with room to add more features later.
